ABC and Hillary Clinton

As you may know, ABC is the most pro-Hillary Clinton TV network in the county, while CNN is the most pro-Hillary cable channel. Both networks are openly shilling for the Democratic presidential candidate, with CNN in particular giving a New York-based political analyst a platform to call the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s e-mail server a “kangaroo court”. With this in mind, there is no doubt that according to the folks at both networks, no one is allowed to criticize Ms. Clinton and what she is doing.

Over the years, I have told you that the ABC television network in particular is in last place in the ratings, losing out to rivals like FOX and CBS in broadcast network viewership. ESPN, its sports-themed network, is also losing its subscriber base. Because ABC and ESPN – both owned by The Walt Disney Company – are in trouble, they are now going full-tilt in liberal activism in a desperate attempt to get ratings. All this despite the fact that the film division has done so well this year.

I have also told you over the years about George Stephanopoulos, the co-anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America. Stephanopoulos, you might remember, used to work for former president Bill Clinton in the 1990’s and recently came under fire for donating money to the already scandal-plagued Clinton Foundation while he still had hosting duties with GMA. There is no question that with Stephanopoulos’ big time Clinton connections, the tendency to bias is not hidden.

So, there’s obviously a huge conflict of interest here. ABC and its news division are in the tank for Hillary Clinton, even as its parent company’s theme park operations and two animation studios usually stay away from politics. If you don’t believe me, look at some of what has been shown on the network over the past few months.

CHARLIE GIBSON, FORMER ABC NEWS ANCHOR: I don’t think there’s anything to Benghazi and I don’t think there’s anything to the e-mails. And I agree with Bernie Sanders: I’m sick of hearing about them…Politically, I think he was right. I don’t think there’s anything to this. And I think, as some people said the Benghazi, as McCarthy said, the investigation was designed to hurt her politically.

Abby: I didn’t have anything on Mellie.

Olivia: It wasn’t her? It — It was me. You had something on me?

Abby: The night Mellie won her filibuster, the night you moved out of the White House…

Olivia: My abortion.

Abby: I didn’t want to hurt you.

Olivia: Thank you. That would have been a smart move for a campaign — taking down Mellie by shaming me. But the thing is, I’m not ashamed at all. The only person who would have really been hurt is him. It would have hurt him. And not just publicly. Abby. He doesn’t know. No one knows. How did you find out?

Abby: Your father told me. And, Liv, I don’t think he’s done with you.

It’s fascinating, ABC, through both its news and entertainment divisions, is not hiding its liberal activism. In fact, mega-producer Shonda Rhimes and the stars of the shows she’s responsible for even starred in this Hillary Clinton campaign ad:

With all of this in mind, it is certainly no accident that the ABC network is promoting Hillary Clinton and attacking her critics while they omit her ongoing e-mail investigation by the FBI. If this were any other industry, there would be a federal investigation on the scale of the Clinton e-mail situation, but the news and entertainment industries are largely above the law, and people are allowed to do whatever they want.

In conclusion, a major television network, whose ratings are causing its parent company to post a 6.9% drop in 2nd quarter earnings, is having its news division is give favorable coverage of a presidential campaign and its entertainment division openly advocate for that candidate and every liberal issue under the sun, and will do anything they can to get her to the white house. Corrupt? Absolutely!
