New ‘Kids’ Choice Awards’ Host: Vile SJW Rapper DJ Khaled
It’s March again, and as always, the tween channel Nickelodeon is gearing up for yet another annual Kids’ Choice Awards program. The content seen in this ceremony – as demonstrated countless times – has gotten progressively worse over the years, as have its ratings.
And it turns out that the downward spiral will probably continue. According to Billboard magazine, Nickelodeon has announced that the awards show’s host will be… wait for it… DJ Khaled, a notorious rapper who puts out garbage like 2015’s How Many Times, which also features the likes of Chris Brown, Big Sean, and Lil Wayne of all people.

I wrote myself a million dollar check in fifth grade
I put it on the wall and promised it’d be this way
She fuck me like she want the rent paid
Like she want that Oscar De La Renta
I slow it down like it’s her favorite ballad
Then go back up at it like I hadn’t had it
Straight upHow many times I gotta tell that ass to come over?
I’ll fuck you right, have you walkin’ from side to side (Hey)
How many times?
DJ Khaled: Because you know Sway got all the answers.
Sway: What up, BET? Shout out to King Tech, world-famous “Wake Up Show,” Sway in the morning. Bet, this here is a celebration. We’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Black Panther Party. Put your fists in the air if you got pride about yourself like this. Oakland, stand up. This year marks two decades since we lost our brother Tupac Shakur. If you love him, put your fist in the air like this. And in this country, ain’t much changed since. But believe me when I tell you, bet, we are the chosen ones. Our voices are the loudest on this planet. We are at war, ladies and gentlemen. And there’s no magic nor magician or no politician coming from the White House or otherwise that’s gonna save us. We have to inform ourselves, love ourselves, prepare, and save ourselves. Do you hear me, BET?
The grievance industry hard at work, indeed. This is especially hypocritical coming from a man who puts out harmful entertainment to the masses (including children) and teams up with the likes of Lil’ Wayne. If you’re going to be a social justice warrior, then making songs about using drugs and saying awful terms like “hoe” and “bitch” to refer to women is beyond inconsistent. And yet Dr. Ben Carson is the one being mocked, even though he was able to rise out of poverty to become one of the most successful pediatric neurosurgeons in the country.
As for Nickelodeon; being a network aimed at children, you would think they’d know better than to promote a rapper known for lewd lyrics in his songs as well as grievance industry talking points. As current Nick personality Lisa Koshy has demonstrated recently by hosting the revival of their game show Double Dare, you can be edgy and pop culture friendly without resorting to this kind of vulgarity.
Then again, DJ Khaled and Nick are made for each other in certain respects, as the latter supports social justice and opposes the 2nd Amendment as well. And that tells you everything you need to know about Nickelodeon and parent company Viacom as a whole. What else would you expect from a struggling New York City-based corporation that owns MTV of all things?
